I was fortunate enough to have a piece of flash fiction published online at Heavy Feather Review a couple weeks ago. They published a book review last year that I wrote and for a while I have been pondering ideas for something to submit to their online blog #nomorepresidents. Living mere miles from the nation’s capital, I felt compelled to write something slightly political, but not overtly. The story I ended up writing is about a man who, after fifteen years of living in Washington, D.C., gets back to nature as an act of protest against the regime presently in power. Click the link below and enjoy. And as always, please feel free to comment. Thanks for reading.
